The Factor Timezone controls the times shown throughout FactorCloud. It is set once for the whole factor, not per user.
Set the timezone
- Click Settings in the bottom-left corner.
- Open the System Config tab.
- Select Optional Features from the list on the left.
- Find Factor Timezone and choose the zone you want from the dropdown, for example US/Central.
Checking the current time
Go to Settings › More › Profile and look at Factor's Local Time. This is a display only – it shows the current time in the factor's timezone and cannot be changed there.
Good to know
- This is a factor-wide setting. Changing it changes the times everyone sees.
- If timestamps look wrong by a fixed number of hours, this is the first thing to check.
