Managing Your Debtors

The Debtors page lists the debtors (your customers) you can invoice, with the credit limit your factor has set for each. If a debtor isn't here, request it.

The Debtors page

# What it is
1 Search and Filter: find a debtor by name or other details
2 Credit Limit: the most your factor will fund against this debtor. Credit Limit Approved shows whether that limit is approved
3 Relationship: a green check means the debtor is set up for your account. A red X means it isn't yet, so contact your factor before invoicing it
4 Click the eye to see the debtor's details
5 Request Debtor

The list also shows each debtor's address, phone number, EIN and MC (motor carrier) number when your factor has them on file. Not every debtor has an MC number.

View a debtor's details

Click the eye icon on a debtor's row to open View Details. This view is read-only; ask your factor to correct anything that's wrong.

View Details for a debtor

  1. Credit Limit Approved and Credit Limit.
  2. Expiration Date: when the credit limit expires and needs review.
  3. Need originals: whether your factor needs original documents for this debtor's invoices.
  4. Relationship: whether the debtor is set up for your account.

Request a new debtor

  1. Click Request Debtor in the top right corner.
  2. Fill in what you know. Country and State Code are required.

The Request Debtor form

# Section What to enter
1 Basic Details The debtor's Company Name, and MC Number if it has one
2 Credit Limit The credit limit you'd like for this debtor
3 Contact Details Address, country, state, city, zip, email and phone
  1. Click Request Debtor (5) to send it, or Request Debtor & Request Another (4) to send it and start a new one. Click Close to back out.

Your factor reviews the request and sets up the debtor. You can invoice the debtor once it shows on your Debtors page with a green check under Relationship.
