04/14/2026 Release Notes - System Updates

General Updates

Update: On Account Payments
We introduced support for On Account Payments, allowing users to track and manage payments that are assigned to a client or debtor but not yet applied to a specific invoice. These payments remain in an unapplied state until allocation and are now available for reporting and visibility across relevant dashboards.

Update: Write-Off Workflow
We introduced a new Write-Off workflow that can be enabled by request. Once enabled, a dedicated Write-Offs screen is available in the main menu, allowing users to manage write-offs directly without needing to create manual transactions.

Update: QuickBooks Push & Audit Improvements
We added a confirmation popup when selecting “Push to QuickBooks” to display the date and time range of the data being pushed, based on the factor’s timezone. Audit entry dates are now consistently shown in the factor’s timezone and updated to follow ISO8601 formatting standards. Additionally, Super Admins are no longer limited to one QuickBooks push per day.

Update: Fuel Advance Credit Import Enhancements
We added an optional Issue Date field to the Fuel Advance Credit import, following the factor’s date format configuration. Imports can now be completed with or without this field. Additionally, the Fuel Advance Credit import option will no longer appear in the UI when the feature is disabled for a factor.

Update: Client Portal Debtor Visibility Controls
We introduced a new client permission to control access to debtors in the Client Portal. Users without the “Can Access not connected Debtors” permission will now only see debtors with an existing relationship, and the ability to request new debtors has been removed. The Request Debtor option and related actions are now hidden for these users, ensuring visibility is aligned with existing client relationships.

Update: NACHA File Offsetting Entry Option
We added a new option to include an offsetting entry when generating NACHA files, allowing files to balance according to bank requirements. When enabled, the system will create a single debit offset entry equal to the total of all credit entries using the factor’s banking information. This setting is available under System Configuration and ensures NACHA files meet balancing requirements when needed.

Update: Reserve Release Warning Notification
We added a warning popup when creating a reserve release that exceeds the available cash reserve balance. Users are now alerted that the release will result in a negative balance before submitting, while still having the option to proceed or adjust the amount.

Update: Reserve Release Ledger Improvements
We updated the ledger to properly track reserve release transactions by introducing dedicated fields for reserve release identifiers and codes. This resolves issues where reserve releases were previously displayed as invoices and ensures accurate reporting and linking within Cash Reserve and Fee ledgers, including updates to historical entries.

Update: Non-Notification Client Controls
We added safeguards to prevent NOAs from being sent for non-notification clients or restricted relationships. NOAs can now only be sent when both the client and relationship are configured to allow notifications, and the Send NOA option will be hidden when these conditions are not met.

Update: Invoice Data Warning Notifications
We added warnings to help identify potentially incorrect invoice data during creation, updates, and approval for funding. Users will now be alerted for scenarios such as future-dated invoices, significantly aged invoices, or unusually large invoice amounts, helping prevent errors before funding.

API Changes / Updates

Update: Fuel Advance API Enhancements
We enhanced the Fuel Advance API to include a fuel advance type, allowing users to distinguish between invoice fuel advances and fuel advance credits. This improves visibility and ensures more accurate identification of fuel advance records when retrieving data through the API.

Update: API Date Filtering Enhancements
We added date filtering support to Invoice Groups and Disbursements API endpoints, allowing users to filter results by updated and funding dates. These enhancements improve data retrieval flexibility and support both ISO8601 and simplified date formats aligned with the factor’s timezone.

⏳ In Progress (Not Yet Released)

The following items were not included in this deployment and will be released in future updates:

  • Over Advances – Introducing improved handling and tracking of over advance amounts.
  • Client Summary Report (Rebuild) – Rebuilding the Client Summary Report using our new reporting architecture for improved performance and accuracy.
  • Cost of Funds – Introducing invoice-level cost of funds tracking. This enhancement will allow factors to configure an interest rate and view the cost of funds calculated per invoice based on outstanding advanced amounts.
  • Referral Partner Commissions – We are working on a new Referral Partner Commission feature that will allow tracking and reporting of commissions for non-factor partners. This includes configurable commission structures and reporting to provide visibility into earnings by client and partner.
